Structural basis of AAV liver de-targeting and neuronal tropism

CLOVER-affiliated graduate student Tyler Brittain and Postdoctoral Fellow Seongmin Jang led a team effort to determine the structural basis of AAV tropism modulation away from liver and non-neuronal CNS cells using cryo-EM, biophysical assays, and in vivo characterization of CAP-B10, AAV9-X1.1, and other capsids. Coauthors include current and former CLOVER staff Izabela Giriat, Fiona Ristic, and Tim Shay.
