Gradinaru lab graduate student Gerry Coughlin and CLOVER-affiliated Postdoctoral Fellow Máté Borsos led a team effort to uncover the mechanisms of AAV transcriptional crosstalk through the development of novel spatial transcriptomics methods to visualize AAV genome concatemers. The team then demonstrates strategies to minimize AAV crosstalk to ease enhancer discovery efforts and methods to leverage AAV crosstalk for cell type-specific CRISPR editing. Catch the full story in Nature Biotechnology. Congrats to Gerry, Máté, and the team!
