Postdoctoral fellow Anat Kahan and team (including support from the Beckman Institute's Neurotechnology Center and CLOVER) established Light-Guided Sectioning (LiGS) as a method that allows researchers to optogenetically study cell function in vivo and then locate those exact cells in cleared tissue for precise molecular and structural characterization.
