Computational method for ranking engineered proteins
Computational method for ranking engineered proteins
April 22, 2024
Former CLOVER scientist Xiaozhe Ding developed a new computational method called APPRAISE, for ranking engineered proteins according to their binding propensity toward a protein target.
Additional CLOVER-affiliated authors include former scientist Xinhong Chen, former researcher Erin Sullivan and current Director Tim Shay. APPRAISE is broadly applicable to a variety engineered protein types from AAV capsid insertion peptides to nanobodies and targets from blood-brain barrier receptors to GPCRs.
Check it out in the latest issue of Molecular Therapy. Congratulations to Xiaozhe and the team!
