Engineered AAVs for PNS with enhanced tropism across species
Engineered AAVs for PNS with enhanced tropism across species
May 27, 2022
CLOVER-affiliated grad student Xinhong Chen and former CLOVER scientist Sripriya Ravindra Kumar led a multi-institutional team, including CLOVER technician Damien Wolfe, to develop and extensively validate new engineered AAVs with enhanced tropism in the peripheral nervous system (PNS) across rodent and non-human primate species. These AAV also have enhanced tropism in the central nervous system (CNS) in macaque and marmoset. Catch the full story in Neuron. Congratulations to Xinhong, Priya, and the team!
